Douglas has been with AKITT, SWANSON + PEARCE ARCHITECTS INC. for over twenty years.  He is a graduate of Ryerson Polytechnical Institute with a degree in Architectural Science.  A Senior Associate at AS+P Doug has been involved in a wide variety of project types and scales including new construction and complex additions and renovations. With years of experience in the production of working drawings, building detailing, municipal aprovals, and construction administration Doug brings an extensive body knowledge and experience to all projects he is involved in.  Doug is committed to achieving the highest possible standards for our clients.

Doug has recently completed construction administration on our University of Waterloo Environment 3 Project (ev3) where he served as Project Architect for all phases of the project.  This complex addition and renovation project  was awarded in October 2009 with a very tight schedule.  Doug was instrumental in the team’s ability to meet target deadlines for permit approvals, tendering, and construction milestones.  

Doug is currently Project Architect overseeing the development of our Sun Life Burlington Project, the Weather Network addition, and several Food Basics stores.
