Iovate Health Sciences is a five storey head office new build which includes: a double height entrance lobby; fifth floor terrace adjacent an executive conference room;  an employee gym/fitness facility; and a ground floor employee cafeteria with exterior patio.

The building is clad in a combination of reflective glass and aluminum panels.  It is strategically situated within an existing grove of mature oak trees, helping to conceal and reduce the overall building mass.  The main entry and two storey lobby are articulated using a prominent canopy feature which curves away from the facade and stretches out to become a sculptural form among the trees.This integration of the building and site distinguishes this office building from the more typical suburban office designs in the area.

The building is designed with an efficient 25,000 sq ft floor plate and uses a long span steel structure to create a column free interior office area. This design-build project was constructed in ten months using a fast track schedule in order to meet the owner’s schedule and to minimize any business shut down resulting from the move from their existing facilities to the new office.
