Design Builder - BCC Construction

Located on a prominent ‘gateway’ site at the crossroads of highway 403 and Dundas Street in Oakville, this new two storey high profile development includes 60,000 sq ft comprised of: office; studio; forecasting; and amenity space.  The building is situated on a 6.8 acre site allowing the building to be generously buffered from the surrounding commercial and industrial developments.

The prominent portion of the building is a striking curved glass double height volume which contains the entrance atrium with: lobby; reception; waiting and stairs to the second floor; and the employee ‘town hall’ which includes: a cafeteria; lunchroom; breakout and social space. A large cantilevered canopy intersects the curved volume articulating the entrance area and creating a strong counterpoint to the curve.

The building operates 24/7, and at night the glowing atrium spaces allow for dynamic views of the action within.

Plans for a significant addition to the facility are currently underway.
